A Key to Art in New York City.

After a woderful trip to New York City this summer. We have decided to devote some time on our blog to wonderful public art installations from around the world. To begin, at the center of it all, New York City and the Key to the City,
Creative Time and artist Paul Ramírez Jonas have set up a kiosk in Times Square and will be giving away free keys to the city. Once you have a  key, you can unlock secret boxes and doors in all five boroughs ranging from the Whitney Museum
to St. John the Divine to The George Washington Bridge and Gracie Mansion.
We are waiting for some pictures to see what is behind these locks and some of these doors that have never been opened by the public.  Thanks to those committed to the arts and specifically public art, for to provide such a wonderful and exciting art tour of NYC is simply... impressive.

something borrowed something new.

Our Dear friends Blenda and Raymond just got married on May 29th, 2010. Congratulations to you both. Blenda looked absolutely gorgeous in her vintage lace dress and yellow floral Minolo's.
Blenda was adorned in Veronica Jewelry from Puka Boutique and Gallery! Veronica makes fabulous jewelry for any day and any occasion, especially a wedding!

Veronica is the best!

This month is dedicated to the wonderful jewelry designer... Veronica!!
She is simply amazing. Her designs are so creative and wonderful. Puka  Boutique and Gallery will be featuring a new rose inspired  collection this weekend and will have the pieces in on Tuesday.  We are also attempting to sell more of Veronica's jewelry online, however they sell really fast and tend to sell before I can put them online. ( which is not necessarily a bad thing). I promise I will put more online for those who can't make it to Hanapepe town.

Inspiration for the day!

Being that I really enjoy a good cup of coffee,
I thought this artists creation was quite hilarious.
What a great way to make art out of an everyday object.
I think I might try something like this with my next paper coffee cup.
